30 Memes With Snap, Crackle, and Pop

Everyone has that commercial they loved growing up. Mine was easily the Spongmonkeys from Quiznos. Forgetting the fact that Quiznos has now become an off-beat, nearly irrelevant relic of a sandwich shop from the early 2000s, their marketing was genius, at least to me. If you haven't seen it, it's an ad sung by an impossibly screechy, poorly animated… creature. Not quite a rat, not quite a chinchilla with huge bulgy eyes and a bowler hat, accompanied by a friend with a pirate hat on the guitar, these creatures extolled the virtues of the fresh and toasty Quiznos sub. And I was captivated. 

I don't know if that ever translated into a purchase from the sandwich shop, but 20 years later I'm still thinking about it. That's the power of a good ad. Luckily these memes don't need any advertisement at all. They speak for themselves, in all their goofy, irreverent glory.
